In addition to all the normal services offered and in the interest of the care and comfort of our residents, Woodland Lodge has arranged several services to make regular visits, which we hope will help maintain a high quality of life for our residents.

Financial arrangements of fees incurred for visiting services will, of course, be taken up with the relevant person/body as these items do not form part of the fee structure.

Hairdressing: A fully qualified hairdresser visits Woodland Lodge on a regular weekly basis. This enables residents to enjoy a ‘hair-do’ in the comfort and convenience of their own surroundings.

Therapeutic Techniques: a local, qualified reflexologist could come out as and when required, and will always be accompanied by a carer and Care Plan.

Podiatry: Woodland Lodge receives a regular visit from a local podiatrist. Further unscheduled visits can be arranged as required for the benefit of residents.

Newspapers: Daily newspapers of the resident's choice are delivered to the Home. Arrangements can also be made for other reading material, such as journals and magazines to be delivered.
